A very common sitting position for stray dogs for some
reason. It is probably just that standing with your backside above your head
isn’t very comfortable so whenever they find themselves facing down a set of
steps they sit.
The fur texture of the dog in this photograph was enhanced
using Topaz Adjust which runs as a Photoshop plug-in, and in this case worked
like HDR (high dynamic range) in increasing local contrast.
