“Shadow of its Former Self” Photograph

Hairless and a bag of bones, this dog’s shadow looks a bit more filled out like it probably was once. Most dogs that end up like this are abandoned pets ill-prepared for a life on the streets. They are usually found in temples where at least they get a bit of food but a high density of dogs on a poor diet with no health care creates perfect conditions for mange and other health problems to spread like wildfire.
