Last week I posted a photograph
looking down at a man from above and said that I liked the angle because it
simplified the background. This photo of a family walking down some steps is a
good example of the opposite. I still like it as a picture but it would be much
better without all the distracting advertisements behind. Sometimes changing the
picture to black-and-white can help but in this case the high contrast of the
background makes the family stand out even less in monochrome.
